Green Template Home Page (green-home.html)

The Green Template Home Page is a very simple design. The page header graphic, followed by the timeline graphic, followed by text.

The Green Template was built around the metaphor of a timeline. Especially when using a case study, it helps to illustrate the sequential steps of problem solving and how one step affects another or another person's work impacts everyone else.

The graphic across the top will need to be updated for your specific site or converted to text. Make sure to include links to Resources, About the Course and Support. If you have the knowledge you can alter the page header that came with the template, green-banner1.gif.

The timeline graphic (green-top00.gif) can be re-used for your web site. The text and design are generic and will match any color scheme you choose. The links of the image map are also already connected, so it would require no more programming in order to make it work.

The text under "Did you know.." will need to be updated as the semester progresses. Insert a teaser leading the students to begin reading the first case study. The link "More Details......" goes to case.html which is the description of the case study.

Post one case at a time to control the pace of the course. Once you are ready for the "Switch" step, replace the content of all pages of the template with the next case study.

Choose simple cases to begin with where differences between parties are clear and extreme. Move to more complicated cases once students have experience.
