Inserting Text

To insert your own text on the web pages, the key step will be to locate where the text needs to go.

Using HTML code, look for text between the "<td>" and "</td>" code. Text can also be entered following the <p>. Use the sample text as your guide. Delete the sample text and replace it with your own content.

Using Dreamweaver, you can replace and add text similar to using a Word Processor.

1. Double-click on the page in the Site Window.
2. Click on the View Menu.
3. Click on "Design".

The page will appear in Design view and you can edit the page contents like a Word Processor.
