Denver Rocky Mountain Chapter of the ACM

ACM - The First Society in Computing

Founded in 1947 as the society of the computing community, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is dedicated to the development of information processing as a discipline, and to the responsible use of computers in an increasing diversity of applications.

The Denver Rocky Mountain Chapter serves the metro Denver area with meetings, Professional Development Seminars, newsletters and and on-line BBS that lists events of interest in the near future.

As an educational organization, the DRMCACM always welcomes the public to its activities.

The DRMCACM also supports the students in the Front Range area both in High School and at the college level. High School activities include Special Awards at the Colorado Science and Engineering Fair, held each year in April at CSU.

At the college/university level, the DRMCACM is part of the ACM Scholastic Programming Contest organization for the Mountain Region.
