RIPS, Research in Industrial Projects for Students. There are three locations: RIPS-Los Angeles at UCLA, RIPS-Beijing, and RIPS-Berlin.

Watch a math movie
Agora. Set to be released October 2009, this is a historical drama set in early Egypt. A main character is Hypatia of Alexandra.

Come to a Math Club Talk. Usually these are at 2:30 on the first Friday of each month.

My field of interest is algebraic geometry and I completed my Ph.D. at Colorado State University under the advising of Holger Kley.
My thesis is entitled Toward a Type B_n Geometric Littlewood-Richardson Rule. If you'd like to learn more about this, you can read my research statement (the current research section is currently not so current).
This project is closely related to Ravi Vakil's A Geometric Littlewood-Richardson Rule (Ann. of Math. (2) 164 (2006)).
