MSCD Student Activities
What are Metro Math Students Doing?

During the spring 2009 MSCD Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences Student Poster Presentation, students shared their projects and math interests with faculty and other students. Sixteen students prepared posters and presented their work during the event.
In the inagural Student Poster Presentation in fall 2008, twenty students presented posters.

Over the weekend of January 30 - February 1, 2009, nine math majors and minors from Metro State attended the Nebraska Conference for Undergraduate Women in Mathematics 2009.

In April 2009, Katie Haus and Will Fey presented posters at the
MAA Rocky Mountain Section Meeting at Colorado School of Mines.

In August 2009, Christianna Brown gave a talk entitled Musical Madness at the
MAA's
MathFest 2009 in Portland, OR.
