He was captured by Indians at the age of 5, and although his father later located him, he refused to return to his family. Amaziah married an Indian woman, had 3 daughters, and was then killed in battle.
• iii. Adonijah Morgan, born 6 May 1755 in Bedford Co VA; died 27 Dec 1827 in Fayette Co IN (also buried there).

More About Adonijah Morgan: He is found in the 1783 census creating Greene Co TN from NC. In 1793, he bought 200 acres of land in Greene Co TN. In 1798, he sold the 200 acres. In Nov 1799, he served on a jury in Greene Co TN. In 1800, he appears on Pulaski Co KY tax lists (until 1818). He moved to Ross Co OH, and then to Shelby Co IN.
