A visit to the Littleton Historical Museum
This place is great! They have 2 outdoor exhibits, a functional
1860's farm and schoolhouse, and a functional 1890s farm and blacksmith's barn.
And you can go inside the buildings and the barns, and they have the animals,
and they have real people in real (period) clothing and manners going about
their lives as if it where the 1800's.
A really COOL place to visit if you make it to the Denver, Colorado area. (Link
for information and hours at end of page.)
To try and make it more managable I split this into three pages...
This first page is devoted to the animals at the farms, and to the children...
(Email contact info is at the end of the page... along with another challenge ;-)

| This is the blacksmiths barn in the distance, the trees are cottonwoods, and there was enough cotton blowing in the breeze it looked like a snowstorm ;-) (Oh, and the barn is good size, but the trees are huge!) | |
NOW...Anyone getting story ideas from these pictures????
