Why urban teaching?
Job security: Highly qualified urban teachers are in demand in Denver, across Colorado and throughout the country. Denver Public Schools is ready to hire all high-quality TQE graduates, particularly knowledgeable math and science teachers.
Making a difference: Teaching in urban schools is a challenging undertaking. With the right commitment, passion and preparation - including education, mentoring and field experience - you can make a huge difference in the lives of kids in our inter-city schools.
