Assignments
After reading through this introductory page, continue to read all of the information within the Syllabus and Course Evaluation links. All assignments for this course are listed within the Course Schedule link, and there are numerous assignments to complete in this course. Please note the due dates for these assignments along with the policies in the syllabus regarding late assignments so you may plan accordingly.

Required Software
In this course, all word processing, web authoring, spreadsheet, and presentation assignments MUST be submitted in Microsoft Office Professional Suite product format (.doc for Word, .xls for Excel, .ppt for PowerPoint). Please note that Microsoft Works is not the same as Microsoft Office and, therefore, the programs are not compatible. Assignments submitted in any format other than .doc, .xls, .ppt, or .htm will be rejected. If you do not have Microsoft Office Professional you can purchase the Office Suite at a special education price in the student bookstore or online at www.creationengine.com. You may also use the computers available for student use in the ERC (Educational Resource Center) located in WC258.

You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to view and print some documents formatted in .pdf format that you will need for two of the activity assignments. If you do not already have Acrobat Reader, it is available as a FREE download from Adobe Software at http://www.adobe.com.

Good luck, and let's have an enjoyable semester!
