Group Assignments - This page shows to which group number you have been assigned for this semester. Please write down your group number so that you get together with the right people.
Formula Pages in PDF format -- Note that you will not find most of these formulas useful in FIN 3300. Most of these formulas are more advanced than those needed in this class.
Web Site for Your Book - I strongly recommend that you take advantage of this resource. This Web site contains online quizzes for each chapter, a student problem manual, and solutions to the problems in the student manual. If you are serious about this course, this site can be an invaluable resource.
Thinking about majoring in finance? Or, just curious (you know you are)? Check out the Finance Department home page.
INSTRUCTIONS: To obtain the files below, click on the underlined text and then choose "Save to Disk" when prompted by your browser. Save the file to an appropriate directory and then run (double click the file in Windows Explorer) the .exe file to extract the files. If you get a dialog box, simply specify the location for the files and then click OK. Then you can open the *.ppt files in PowerPoint for printing.
This is a self-extracting archive which contains several PowerPoint files. Each file is named according to the chapter which it covers (i.e., CH1.PPT is the file for chapter 1). Some of these files are rather long, so you may wish to print multiple slides on a page. To do this, choose File Print and set the number of slides per page on the dialog box. I will post updates as they become available.
PowerPoint Course Notes - For PowerPoint 2000 users (should also work with PowerPoint 97, but I haven't tested this). These are the newest notes available, but I haven't changed much in this version. Once you've downloaded this file, run it and then click the Self-Extract menu and choose Extract Files. File size is approximately 576Kb.
PowerPoint Viewer for Windows 95/98 - If you have Windows 95 or 98 but don't have PowerPoint, you can download the viewer free of charge from Microsoft. This program will allow you to display and print the class notes. However, you will not be able to edit the files or to create you own presentations. This program will not run on Windows 3.1, but there is a link to a viewer that will.
The following files are the native PowerPoint files and may be downloaded and immediately opened in PowerPoint (this is primarily for those who cannot extract the notes from one of the files above):
| Chapter 1 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6 & 7 |
| Chapters 8 | Chapter 9 | Chapter 10 | Chapter 11 | Chapter 12 |
