Resumé
Writing Tips
If you list a faculty member
as a reference on a job application or in a resumé you should
seek the faculty member's approval to list them, and you should
ask what they would say about you. It would assist the faculty member
in answering questions if you provide the faculty member with a
copy of your resumé.
I would like all of this information
so that I can assist you in obtaining a job. Please talk with me
prior to listing me as a reference.
Please stop by my office or
call me to inform me that your listing me as a reference. I am happy
to write letters of reference for students.
If you would like for me to
review your resumé I will be happy to assist you.
