1. Sinatrial node(SA)
A region of the atrial myocardium where the cells fire slightly faster than the rest of the myocardium.
Sets the pace of resting heart contraction: called the pacemaker node.
The AV node receives signals from the SA nodes via the internodal pathways.
The AV node delays the signal for a brief interval, 0.1 sec.
Then passes the signals on to the AV bundle.
